About ViewGoblin

ViewGoblin publishes daily numbers for YouTube channels: subscribers, total views, video count and how each new upload grows in its first days. Every channel gets its own page, so you can see at a glance whether a channel is growing, how often it uploads and how its recent videos perform.

Where the numbers come from

All numbers on ViewGoblin come from the official YouTube Data API. Each channel is checked once a day. Channels are found by our own channel crawler and by people using the ViewGoblin browser extension. Numbers we calculate ourselves, such as growth or views per day, are labeled as ours.

A channel page shows the last 30 days. Channels can be browsed by topic, country and language, and the sponsors section lists brands that creators mention in their video descriptions.

Who runs it

ViewGoblin is run by Malte Hoffmann (Micro-SaaS Solutions) in Rosenheim, Germany. It is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google. Full details are in the legal notice.
